Vintage; sharks of the Sudan

I took these clips with an Eumig Nautica 8 mm film camera in the Sudan in the late 90 ties. So they do not not have the quality of modern video. When the bait is hidden under a coral table or attached to a piece of rock, a little piece of fish will suffice to attract the sharks. They will also stay on their location and not pay much attention to the divers. However it might also trigger some nervous competition between the sharks especially if the bait is hard to get. A solid crate filled with fish parts and holes drilled in it (as used most often by 'baiters') is a better alternative, with about the same effect on the shark. When the dive is over and everyone back on board, the crate is emptied and the sharks will get their (delayed) reward.
